Role Summary

• A Luxury Hotel located in Victoria, Lagos is looking to recruit a Facility Manager. This is a full-time on-site role. The Facility Manager will oversee facility operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure that the physical environment is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained.
• The Facility Manager will also manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Job Description

• Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect the building's structure to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Supervise all facilities staff (technicians, electricians, plumbers etc.) and external contractors
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
• Allocate office space according to needs
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts
• Keep financial and non-financial records
• Perform analysis and forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility management, preferably in commercial or hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes
• Experience in managing budgets, contracts, vendors and contractors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while ensuring high standards of quality and safety
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and use of Computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software.
