Job Title: Grade Class Teacher

Overview

• We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade Class Teacher to join our exceptional team at Kids R' Key Academy.
• The ideal candidate will serve as a mentor, role model, and guide for students in their formative years.
• They will be responsible for delivering a well-rounded education that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility.

Competencies Required
Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Integrate creative teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Incorporate ICT tools and modern teaching aids to enhance learning.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement effective strategies for discipline and classroom control.
• Encourage active participation and engagement from all students.

Student Development:

• Monitor and evaluate individual student progress through assessments and classwork.
• Identify and address any learning challenges in collaboration with the school’s support team.
• Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.

Parent Communication:

• Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school events.

School Participation:

• Contribute to school activities such as sports, cultural events, and extracurricular programs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive teaching approach.

Additional Competencies

• A Degree in Education or a relevant teaching qualification (NCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• 2+ years proven experience as a Grade Class Teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child-centered and activity-based learning methods.
