Taimako Community Development Initiative (TCDI) is one of the frontline National Non-governmental organizations working in Bauchi, Borno and Yobe States with over a decade experience in providing humanitarian and development services in the North East Nigeria. It has partnered with numerous government agencies, National and International NGOs as well as UN Agencies in the design, planning, implementation, and supervision of programmes and activities aimed at improving the lives of rural and urban communities.
The organization has footprints across the focal states and has been engaging with communities through its network of field workers and volunteers. TCDI was established in 2008 and registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C.), Abuja on 23rd May 2014 with registration number IT/69569 and other regulatory bodies in the focal states.

Job Description
Facilitate community mobilization, meetings, and training before the redemption and cash-out activities
To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
Work with Project Management Committees (PMC) to ensure TCDI and WFP receive feedback from the beneficiaries on the project, including information on complaints related to food quality and the conduct of the vendors/retailers.
Coordinate sensitization of beneficiaries so that they are aware of project objectives, project modalities, entitlements, right to complain, complaint modalities, and redemption/cash out days.
Represent TCDI in the field with community leaders, local authorities, and other humanitarian actors. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, prepare minutes and reports and share with the Project Manager.
Supervise and coordinate the work of the Field Monitors, and by ensuring their presence in the field, keeping track of their attendance, submitting accurate information for their payment at the field level, and providing instructions to them on the planned activities
Build the capacity of the Field Monitors by regular training/coaching,
Coordinate and supervise the monitoring of monthly redemption and cash-out activities: conduct market price monitoring, conduct vendor’s price monitoring, shop monitoring, and ensure that beneficiaries receive their full entitlement and are treated with dignity and not taken advantage of.
Conduct monthly meetings with the vendors/agents to ensure that their activities are fully in compliance with WFP regulations, and represent beneficiaries’ interests in such meetings.
Timely report any irregularities to the Project Manager.
Prepare and submit timely weekly activity reports to the Project Manager.
Design monthly CBT work plan. Prepare and submit a monthly report on redemption/cash-out activities to the CBT Manager/Deputy Project Manager for their further compilation and sharing with the donor.
Exercise extreme precaution and confidentiality when handling the personal data of project beneficiaries.
Together with the SCOPE officer, coordinate the distribution of SCOPE cards to targeted beneficiaries.
Support the M&E team in the analysis of beneficiary data collection through the various tools that the department uses.

Work closely with community structures to follow up on the implementation of conditional and unconditional cash transfer planned activities
Support the program team in facilitating the process of setting up the Complaint Response Mechanism at the Ward/ LGA level and handling complaint/feedback.
Requirements
Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
