We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Store Officer
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
The Store Officer works with the Store Supervisor to receive and issue store items (equipment spare parts, consumables, and facility items)
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Store Items Receipt:
Assists with the reception of spare part ordered and verifies that it tallies with the information of the spare part requested for
Engages end-user for the verification of the items supplied to ensure that it meets the specifications required
Completes the reception process on the MAXIMO platform
Executes the storage process of items received both physically in specific locations and on the MAXIMO platform, ensuring that the physical and digital locations tallies
Creates "new part" for previously non-existent items needed in the store on the MOIRA platform
Store Items Issuance
Receives and processes requisitions for spare parts made by end-users
Issues spare parts based on approved work order
Issues consumables and facility items
Processes exit of work order on the MAXIMO platform for spare parts
General Store Management:
Conducts the material stock-taking process daily
Maintains proper documentation and records of store spare parts supplied by vendors
Works with the Store Manager to ensure that spare parts are readily available in the store on request
Safety & Compliance:
Adheres to safety requirements (right tools usage, safe working environment) while executing store management procedures
Keeps the store environment clean always
Attends weekly safety training
Utilizes personal protective equipment in work areas at all time
Teamwork & Performance:
Works with team to complete designated tasks
Takes ownership of own performance using the TICT performance management system
Attends and maximizes training recommended by Supervisors and HR to close performance & development gaps
Supports the induction of new team members into the Unit
Performs any other duties as required by the business
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an OND or its equivalence in a relevant field
HSE Level 1 Certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and industry.
