Job Description

• The Depot Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for managing depot sales and marketing operations for white petroleum products, ensuring seamless service delivery through coordination with relevant departments, timely reporting of sales activities, reactivating dormant customers and maintaining proper documentation while effectively addressing customer service challenges.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Advice Opening and Closing Price Scan for white Petroleum Products/LPG.
• Ex-Depot marketing of all Matrix products to prospective and existing customers
• Co-ordinate programming and loading activities for all Matrix customers by liaising with all relevant departments to deliver seamless service delivery
• Prompt update of all operational challenges and any other challenges that may affect sales activities to the Head of Sales.
• Prompt rendition of daily Loading and Sales report/ weekly report/Monthly report
• Reactivation of all dormant customer relationships
• Develop high dispute resolution and customer service skills necessary to avert service delivery failure
• Ensure proper documentation (KYC) is in place for all new customers of the company, especially if they want a waybill issued in a name different from the name they paid with
• Prompt update of depot activities such as Vessel arrival, loading delay, weekend & holiday loading, etc. to customers
• Any other Job that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in depot sales and marketing.
• First Degree in any field.
• Familiar with inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of business.
