We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: Port Harcourt - Rivers (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Sales & Marketing Manager with 5+ years of experience in a tech or edtech startup.
  • The ideal candidate will lead and execute sales and marketing strategies, drive revenue growth, and build the company’s brand presence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies tailored to the edtech sector.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve and exceed sales and marketing targets.
  • Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and customer needs.

Sales Management:

  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing sales funnels and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Build and manage high-performing sales teams, ensuring clear goals and performance metrics.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance market prpresence.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Design and execute effective brand-building and awareness campaigns.
  • Oversee content marketing, social media, and digital advertising strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure and refine marketing performance.

Partnership & Market Expansion:

  • Develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive customer acquisition.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or marketing leadership role, ideally in a tech or edtech startup.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving marketing ROI.
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies, customer engagement, and sales funnel optimization.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
