Job Title: Team Lead, Security
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Job Summary
You will be responsible for scoping, designing, and developing Bill of Materials with pricing for solutions relating to Cyber Security and Networks Infrastructure.
You will architect for other areas of solution as the company deem fit from time to time.
Your goal is to win the customer with innovative solutions that solve customers’ problem at a price point that gives competitive edge without compromising quality and integrity.
You will interface with external vendors, OEM, and sales team in ensuring optimum performance of the solution areas under your portfolio.
You will guide the company on technology trends on areas you manage from time to time.
You will be responsible for achieving the financial target of the business for area of solution you manage.
Performance of the solutions will be evaluated from time to time as deem fit by the organization.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable (network & security) solutions that is in line with customer requirement.
Job Responsibilities
Engaging customers via email, phone, physical meetings for initial requirement gathering.
Strong knowledge of Network and Security Solutions.
Basic knowledge of Compute, Backup/DR, System and Microsoft Solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, in-market field sellers, partner under your area of coverage.
Keep up to date with various OEM product announcements and sales incentives and programsunder your area of coverage.
Support sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by Presales Lead or Sales Lead.
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organisation
Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported
Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within clients. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
Builds relationships especially on C-level with customers and global partners that result in superior solutions and deeper loyalty and adoption of ITH’s solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
Design and help customer optimize existing environment for revenue generation.
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)
Product presentations and demonstrations
Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities
Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal(RFP)
Support the team lead in preparing and implementing annual work and resource plans; support their applicability within the overall company strategy
Recognize and actively seek ways to exploit IT to address complex business, organizational and technical issue.
Requirements
Professional Certifications:
Candidates should possess a B.Tech qualification
CCNP - Security, CCNP
Route and Switch, CISSP, MSCA, VMware
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience.
Analytical and problem- solving ability
Good at organizing and multitasking and prioritize under pressure
Able to explain technical problems in a simple term
Work well with people and Willingness to travel
Teamwork skills and the ability to work with different teams, clients, and groups of staff across an organization.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.
In-depth understanding of security technology.
