Job Title: Account Officer / Bursar

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Tasks: Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.
• Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting tasks, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and budget tracking.
• Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and external partners.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both physical and digital.
• Support: Provide administrative support to senior management and other teams as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of administrative or accounting experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Entry-level (0-2 years)

Soft Skills:

• Organizational and time management.
• Communication and interpersonal.
• Problem-solving and analytical.
• Attention to detail.

Performance Metrics:

• Accuracy and Timeliness: Maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 per month.
