Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve transaction volume targets and revenue goals.
Identify and capitalise on opportunities for market penetration and growth.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and excellence within the sales organisation.
Transaction Volume Growth:
Prioritize driving transaction volumes across personal and business accounts.
Develop partnerships and collaborations to expand transaction pipelines.
Key Account Management:
Build and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts and partners.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling financial products and services.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Use insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Sales operations and reporting:
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs.
Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and updates to executive leadership.
Product Collaboration:
Work closely with product and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Provide feedback on market demand and customer preferences to guide product development.
Regulatory and Compliance Awareness:
Ensure all sales activities align with financial sector regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
At least 7+ years of leadership experience in sales within the financial sector, fintech, or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in driving transaction volumes.
Deep understanding of financial products and services, including multi-currency accounts, credit, and digital banking solutions.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and scaling sales teams.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Data-driven decision-making with expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
A strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
