Job Title: Female Inventory Manager
Location: Yaba, Lagos Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager who can oversee our stock movement, maintain accuracy, and ensure accountability across our inventory system.
This Role is Not for Everyone!:
If you’re looking for a “soft” role where you can do the bare minimum and wait for instructions, DO NOT APPLY. This role demands urgency, accountability, and precision.
We need someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do — they just do it. Lazy people will not survive in this role. If you’re not ready for high-pressure deadlines, extreme accountability, and fast-paced decision-making, DO NOT APPLY.
About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Manager with exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
This is a highly critical role that requires precision, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock records, preventing loss or discrepancies, and maintaining smooth inventory operations across our multiple warehouse locations.
This role demands strong organizational skills, a commitment to timely updates, and the ability to resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, proactive, and highly disciplined.
Key Responsibilities
Track Stock in Real Time:
Record stock movements (inbound, outbound, and returns) with 100% accuracy. No delays, no mistakes.
Every movement must be recorded within 20 minutes. Late entries are a sign of negligence. If you can’t handle this, DO NOT APPLY.
Strict Timely Data Entry:
Entries into the inventory system must be done within 20 minutes of any stock movement. Late entries, excuses, or “I forgot” will not be tolerated. If you can’t keep up, this role is not for you.
Resolve Discrepancies Immediately:
If there is a mismatch between physical stock and system stock, it is your job to find it, report it, and resolve it — fast. Unresolved issues must be escalated the same day.
No hiding mistakes. No delays. No excuses.
Submit Daily Reports Without Excuse:
Submit accurate daily stock reports to management before 5:00 PM every day. No extensions. No delays. Submitting late is seen as a failure to deliver.
If you miss deadlines, this role will not work for you.
Spot Check & Audit:
Weekly audit checks will be done to ensure stock counts match system records. If theft, missing stock, or errors are found due to your negligence, you will be held accountable.
Own Your Role:
This is not a role where you wait to be told what to do. If you see something, fix it. If you notice an issue, act on it. People who sit and wait will not last in this role. If you need hand-holding, this role is not for you.
Audit Accountability:
Your stock movements, entries, and reports will be audited weekly.
If any negligence, lateness, or missing data is found, you will be required to account for your actions within 24 hours.
Failure to resolve issues during an audit will result in a performance penalty, possible loss of bonuses, or termination.
What to Expect in the First 30 Days
Day 1: Complete training on stock tracking and system entries.
Week 1: Be audited daily to ensure you understand the role.
Week 2: Handle real stock movements with full accountability.
Week 3-4: Prove you can hit daily deadlines, submit daily reports, and achieve 100% accuracy.
Fail to meet targets = no job.
Consequences for Failure:
Late Reports: Failure to submit daily reports by 5:00 PM will be recorded as a performance breach. Three breaches in one month = termination.
Missed Deadlines: Failing to meet the 20-minute stock entry rule will result in automatic loss of performance bonuses. Consistent failure will lead to dismissal.
Negligence: If stock discrepancies are found and you fail to act, it will be viewed as gross negligence. Repeated negligence will result in termination and financial liability for missing stock.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years work experience.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Attention to Detail: You’ll be responsible for ensuring 100% stock accuracy at all times. This role requires laser-sharp attention to detail.
Accountability: You will own the inventory process end-to-end and be responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
Integrity: Since you will be handling critical company assets, we require a high level of honesty and integrity.
Proactive Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies quickly, without delays.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with inventory software, Excel, Google Sheets, and WhatsApp for stock updates and reporting.
What We Will Not Accept:
People who wait for instructions to be told what to do.
People who “forget” to submit reports or enter stock data on time.
People who make careless mistakes and fail to double-check their work.
People who miss deadlines or look for excuses.
People who lack attention to detail or fail to spot issues in stock counts.
