This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to manage inventory levels, coordinate, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.
This role includes working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, production, and sales to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
Responsibilites
Manage the entire factory and its operations.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency, and service improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics metrics to assess operational efficiency.
Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
Implement inventory control processes to reduce waste and obsolescence.
Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence and meet organizational goals.
Ensure that team members adhere to deadlines and perform their tasks efficiently.
Minimize factory downtimes to the bare minimum.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs across the supply chain.
Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet demand while minimizing excess.
Ensure that all equipment and machines are fully operational.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure the prompt supply of necessary factory materials.
Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Education, Qualification and Experience
HND / BSc and other certifications and training.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Working experience in a Furniture, Manufacturing firm or related field.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
