Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities and is responsible to ensures compliance with HSE (occupational and process) Legislation, Company Standards and Procedures
Ensures record keeping and reporting of action items from Process Hazard Analyses, Incident Investigations, Root Cause
Operates in conformity with mechanical codes, standards, regulations and industry best practices
Participate to safety talk before and after intervention
Respects the waste management policy in force on site, verifying that all activities performed under his own responsibility
Operations:
Organizes on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself,
Manage the maintenance all mechanical equipment (Gearboxes, Pumps, Compressors, Gas compressor, Cranes, Accumulators, heat exchangers, Fans, Lifeboats, Liferaft, Diesel generators SDG/EDG, Firefighting package, Strainers & filters).
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical systems, Air compressors, Gas lift compressor, Water injection systems, Cranes, pumps, etc.
Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Asset Care routine to ensure PM/CM close-out and Integrity of Asset maintained.
Troubleshooting mechanical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Organize for all maintenance activities (Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures).
Daily parameter logging, and records.
Methods:
Provide support in repair, installation, and commissioning
Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, optimization of costs),
Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements,
Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, if need be, suggests improvements,
Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
Suggests improvements and requests modifications.
Profile:
He is responsible for the quality of studies carried out by back-up teams and ensures the satisfactory performance of on-site operations by organizing audits and reviews. He contributes to a good level of availability of the installations on production sites by generally ensuring the quality of maintenance.
He defines the maintenance policy based on the objectives of COMPANY and those of the subsidiary.
He makes sure that operations are carried out in strict compliance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operational procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice.
He analyses maintenance performance from both the technical and the economic viewpoint and takes the necessary actions to reach his set objectives regarding availability and costs.
Qualifications
The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:
Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND / HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
+10 years’ experience minimum in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
