The Chief Security Officer (CSO) oversees all aspects of security operations for the organization, ensuring the safety and protection of assets, personnel, and operations.
This position provides strategic leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive security framework tailored to the aviation industry’s unique challenges, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Role
Most important responsibilities (main tasks, not personal):
Develop, implement, and manage robust security policies, procedures, and protocols. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in operations. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
Oversee daily security operations, including access control and protocol enforcement. Supervise security personnel and collaborate with airport authorities and agencies. Manage security technology, including surveillance systems and alarms.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for security incidents. Lead investigations into breaches or incidents, providing detailed reports. Collaborate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Train security personnel to meet LSG Sky Chefs’ operational requirements. Conduct security awareness and crisis management training for staff
Safeguard physical and intellectual assets, including inventory and sensitive data. Monitor and mitigate supply chain security risks.
Align security policies with local and international aviation regulations (e.g., NCAA, ICAO, IATA). Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.

Job-Specific Qualifications / Knowledge (incl. specific duration (2 years LSG))
Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field. Master’s (preferred).
Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Aviation Security Professional (AvSec) are preferred.
7 - 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 3 years in a senior aviation security role.
Proven track record of managing high-risk, regulatory-compliant environments.
Strong leadership and crisis management capabilities.
In-depth understanding of aviation security regulations and best practices.
