Job Summary
A leading perfume company is recruiting for the role of Social Media Manager.
The role requires a smart person who is willing to drive the social Media strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing and business objectives.
Identify target audiences and tailor strategies for different platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep the strategy innovative.
Create and schedule engaging, high-quality content (e.g., posts, videos, stories, infographics) that reflects the brand's voice and tone.
Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
Monitor and respond to trends to create timely and relevant content.
Manage interactions with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Foster an active online community, encouraging user-generated content and brand advocacy.
Address customer inquiries and concerns on social platforms, escalating issues to appropriate departments as needed.
Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
Prepare regular performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendations to optimize engagement and ROI.
Set KPIs for social media campaigns and ensure consistent progress toward goals.
Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to boost engagement, lead generation, and conversions.
Manage ad budgets effectively to maximize results while maintaining a high ROI.
Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, competitor activity, and industry trends.
Proactively manage the company’s online reputation by addressing negative feedback and promoting positive customer experiences.
Work with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
Partner with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and engagement.
Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to align messaging and share insights.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a similar industry.
Proven track record of developing and managing successful social media campaigns.
Skills:
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and reporting.
Photo and video editing skills (using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and paid social campaigns.
