Job Summary
A leading perfume company is recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive.
The role requires a smart person who is willing to drive sales growth, expand brand presence and create a partnership to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partnerships.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to enhance the company’s market position.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Develop and oversee sales strategies, ensuring achievement of revenue targets.
Create tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations for potential clients and partners.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
Set clear KPIs for team members and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to achieve business objectives.
Stay updated on market dynamics, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Provide insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products/services.
Supervise all Branch Managers, and be able to recreate working structures
Shall have oversight over ALL Business-related department
Identification and acquisition of new marketing locations
Show interest in non-Nigerian locations. Must have core administrative and interpersonal skills
Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities within excellent time management
Must be able to constantly buy-in and demonstrate understanding of the company's vision and culture.
Manager Must be able to always prepare and review industry trends, threats and opportunities
Must have broad knowledge to be able to work with little or no supervision
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at 7 years’ experience in the Fragrance industry knowledge of the niche space would be an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies.
