Job Description

• The Empowered Tribe is a dynamic, Spirit-led church ministry dedicated to spiritual growth, community service, and empowering individuals to live according to God’s word.
• We are seeking a highly organized and spiritually mature Church Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our ministry, ensuring smooth and efficient administration in line with our mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative functions of the ministry, including managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling.
• Coordinate church events, services, and meetings, including handling logistics such as venue setup and volunteer coordination.
• Maintain and manage church records, including membership databases, financial records, and inventory.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking in collaboration with ministry leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and external vendors, handling inquiries and providing information.
• Support the pastor and leadership team in their administrative tasks.
• Ensure smooth office operations, including managing supplies, overseeing building maintenance, and handling IT and equipment needs.
• Assist with ministry communications, including maintaining the website, social media accounts, and newsletters.
• Coordinate volunteer efforts, including recruitment, scheduling, and management for various ministry activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a church or ministry setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and church management software is preferred.
• Financial management experience is a plus.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 / Month.
