Job Title: Human Resources Executive
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Manage employee engagement initiatives to promote a collaborative and supportive culture.
Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures, benefits packages, and recommend improvements.
Ensure timely processing of payroll, bonuses, and other employee benefits.
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, maintaining a strong employer brand.
Handle employee grievances and disputes, ensuring that complaints are addressed and resolved in accordance with company policy and labor law.
Manage the exit process for employees, including conducting exit interviews and preparing relevant documentation.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to labor laws, including attendance, wages, health and safety, and leave management.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure the company remains in compliance.
Identify training needs and assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development programs.
Collaborate with managers to assess skills gaps and ensure the development of tailored training programs that address business needs.
Maintain accurate employee records and statutory documentation as required by law.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Certification: CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) certification is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations, compensation & benefits, recruitment, and labor law.
Skills:
Solid understanding of labor laws, HR practices, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Other Requirements:
Candidate must reside within close proximity to Lekki.
