Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our factory production process by conducting chemical analyses, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires a strong background in analytical chemistry, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Chemical Analysis:
Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques.
Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
Quality Control:
Monitor and assess product quality through regular sampling and testing.
Collaborate with production teams to address any deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
Instrumentation Operation:
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators.
Ensure calibration and proper functioning of equipment to obtain accurate and reliable results.
Data Recording and Reporting:
Record and interpret data accurately, maintaining detailed laboratory notebooks and electronic records.
Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing analysis results, trends, and any deviations from specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in laboratory operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements and quality advancements.
Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Maintain documentation for laboratory procedures, test methods, and quality control processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Chemical Laboratory Analyst in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures.
Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
