Multipro Consumer Products Limited is the largest company in Nigeria dealing in Sales, Haulage and Logistics. MCPL was founded in 1996 as a fully owned company of the Tolaram Group. The first product sold by MCPL in 1996 was Indomie and since then it has played a seminal role in making Indomie a household brand in Nigeria. MCPL over the years has grown adding 13 brands in various categories comprising of Noodle, Snacks, Milk, Cereal, Oil, Homecare and Personal Hygiene.
The Human Resources Manager will leadand oversee the full spectrum of HR functions,ensuring alignment with thestrategic goals of the FMCG organization.
This position requires a forward-thinking leader who will drive innovation in HR processes, foster a high-performance culture, and promote an engaged, skilled, and diverse workforce.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dynamic nature of the FMCG industry, with experience in talent management, organizational transformation, employee relations, and workforce analytics.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives,focusing on talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee development, and engagement
Identify and implement innovative HR solutions to support business growth and stability in the fast-paced FMCG sector.
Lead the design and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent across all levels, ensuring diversity and cultural fit.
Develop and implement retention programs, focusing on employee satisfaction, career development, and growth opportunities.
Oversee employer branding initiatives to position the company as a desirable workplace within the FMCG industry.
Design and implement performance management frameworks that drive high performance, linking individual and team performance to organizational goals.
Develop leadership and managerial programs to identify high-potential employees, fostering a leadership pipeline for succession planning.
Implement employee engagement surveys and action plans, ensuring the feedback loop leads to meaningful changes and improvements.
Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, fostering a work environment that encourages diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.
Create a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) strategy that aligns with current and future business needs, fostering continuous professional growth across all levels.
Implement training programs that enhance technical, managerial, and leadership skills, ensuring employees are equipped to meet evolving market demands.
Serve as the primary contact for labor-related matters, maintaining positive relationships with unions (if applicable) and handling employee grievances.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry-specific standards, implementing proactive measures to mitigate legal risks.
Develop and oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that align with market trends and company performance.
Requirements
Candidate must have 8 to 15 years of Experience in HR & Administration role.
Must have experience in FMCG and manufacturing.
Must have handled Unionised and contract staff of about 2000 work strength and more (400 to 500 Unionised staff & 1500 to 2000 contract staff).
Must have handled all audits related to HR by internal or external parties (NESRA, LAWMA, Safety , Federal and state bodies independently ).
Must be fully aware of ILO and Nigerian labor laws.
Documentation and other compliance awareness.

Relevant degrees in HR and administration (Post graduation will be given preference).
