TAAS College, Ibadan isa Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to the secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. The college which is enriched with stately built school premises in a serene and conducive environment with modern facilities commenced operations in 2005.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary School Administrator/Principal to lead and manage the daily operations of our institution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for educational excellence.
They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality education, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the overall development of students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
Provide strategic leadership to achieve academic excellence.
Supervise and mentor teachers and administrative staff.
Develop and implement policies that align with the school’s vision and goals.
Curriculum & Academic Oversight:
Oversee the planning and execution of the curriculum.
Monitor student progress and ensure high academic standards are maintained.
Organize and facilitate teacher training and professional development programs.
Administration & Operations:
Manage school operations, including timetabling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and accreditation standards.
Maintain accurate student and staff records and ensure effective communication within the school community.
Student & Staff Welfare
Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Address student behavioral and disciplinary issues effectively.
Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity among staff and students.
Parent & Community Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians.
Organize and participate in school events and activities to strengthen the school-community relationship.
Build partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance the school’s reputation and resources.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience: 6–12 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
Residency: Must reside in Ibadan or within the South-West region of Nigeria.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational policies.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets and school resources effectively.
Proficiency in using modern educational technologies and tools.
