Description
The Terminal Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing terminal-based software operations, ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and performance. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support service delivery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of terminal software systems.
Ensure the smooth functioning of terminal-related applications to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Manage and maintain terminal operational documentation.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Act as the primary point of contact for terminal-related technical issues.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve terminal software and hardware malfunctions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
System Integration & Testing:
Coordinate with product and engineering teams to integrate terminal software with other company systems.
Conduct regular testing to ensure terminal software compliance with updates, patches, and security protocols.
Data Management & Reporting:
Monitor terminal performance metrics and generate regular reports for management.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure terminal systems adhere to company security standards and industry regulations.
Conduct audits and risk assessments to safeguard terminal operations against vulnerabilities.
Team Collaboration:
Provide training and guidance to staff on terminal system operations.
Work closely with customer support to address client concerns and enhance user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in terminal operations or related fields, preferably in a service software company.
Proven experience with terminal systems, software integrations, and operations management.
Proficiency in terminal software tools and operating systems.
Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell is a plus.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
