Job Title: Social Media / Content Creator

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Handler to join our team.
• This role will involve capturing, editing, and sharing engaging video content across all our social media platforms.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, a knack for storytelling, and a love for football and community work.

Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management:

• Capture high-quality video content during training sessions, matches, events, and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Create and edit videos for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
• Develop engaging reels, stories, and short-form content that highlight the academy’s activities and impact.

Strategy & Planning:

• Collaborate with the management team to plan a content calendar that aligns with the academy’s goals and events.
• Stay updated on social media trends and implement creative ideas to grow audience engagement.

Community Engagement:

• Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain a strong online community for the academy.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure content effectiveness.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with coaches, players, and volunteers to capture authentic moments.
• Coordinate with graphic designers or external partners when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management and video content creation.
• Experience working with an NGO or football sector
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Passion for football and community-driven initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work during evenings or weekends when events occur.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
