Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Sobi, Kwara

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development:

• Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies.

Content Creation:

• Develop engaging, high-quality content, including text, images, and videos, tailored for different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create content that resonates with the target audience.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Community Management:

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster relationships with followers to build a loyal online community.
• Address customer queries and complaints effectively through social channels.

Campaign Management:

• Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including boosted posts and paid ads.
• Track and optimize performance to meet objectives (e.g., increased engagement, conversions, or reach).

Analytics & Reporting:

• Analyze performance metrics (e.g., likes, shares, comments, click-through rates) to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Prepare regular reports and use insights to refine strategies.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, PR, and product teams to align social media initiatives with broader marketing goals.
• Partner with influencers, bloggers, and other external stakeholders for collaborations.

Crisis Management:

• Address negative feedback or social media crises swiftly and professionally to protect the brand's reputation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Growth in followers across platforms.
• Engagement rate (likes, shares, comments).
• Website traffic and lead generation via social media.
• ROI on paid campaigns.
• Response time and satisfaction rates in community interactions

Qualifications and Skills

• HND in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Strong copywriting, content creation, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with problem-solving skills.
