Job Title: Light Current Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Light Current Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of light current systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and other low-voltage electronic systems.
• The supervisor will manage a team of technicians, ensure work quality, adhere to safety standards, and ensure timely project completion.
• This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the proper functioning of systems and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train a team of light current technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems.
• Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation and maintenance of light current systems, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for diagnosing and resolving issues related to light current systems.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with local regulations and safety guidelines.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute installations, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding project requirements, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance of inventory for all necessary tools, equipment, and components used in light current projects.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on the status of ongoing projects, team performance, and any challenges faced.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations related to light current systems and installations.
• Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to the team to enhance their technical skills and ensure they remain updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

•  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
•  Alternatively, a diploma or certification in Light Current Systems or similar technical discipline.

Experience:

•  Minimum of [3] years of experience working with light current systems (security systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
•  At least [2] years of supervisory or leadership experience in a related field.

Technical Skills:

•  Proficiency in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of light current systems.
•  In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and electronic components.
•  Familiarity with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

 Leadership Skills:

•  Strong leadership and team management skills.
•  Ability to motivate, train, and develop team members.

Communication Skills:

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
