Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized professional to join our team as a Human Resources Officer & Business Support Specialist.
This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing assets to maximize their value, supporting business development initiatives, assisting with client relationship management, and handling various administrative and HR-related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent networking and client facing skills, strong proficiency in MS Office tools, report writing, and presentation preparation, as well as the ability to leverage technology to streamline operations.
Manage and oversee the company’s assets, ensuring their maximum value is realized through strategic planning and optimization techniques.
Conduct regular asset performance assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance asset value over time.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management:
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, researching potential markets, and assisting in strategic initiatives to drive growth.
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and other business development materials.
Administrative & HR Support:
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
Assist in HR-related activities, including recruitment support, employee onboarding, and coordination of training programs.
Prepare and maintain employee files and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Representation & Engagement:
Represent the company at various meetings, industry events, and engagements with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Act as a liaison between the company and external parties to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Participate in internal and external discussions, offering insights and expertise as needed.
Proficiency in MS Office & Reporting:
Create detailed reports, presentations, and documents using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to effectively communicate findings and support decision-making.
Assist in developing performance metrics, KPIs, and other reporting tools to track business and asset performance.
Prepare and present regular updates to leadership and other stakeholders on asset management and business development activities.
Leveraging Technology for Operational Efficiency:
Utilize technology tools and software to automate administrative processes, track assets, and improve business workflows.
Research and recommend new technologies or software solutions that could enhance operational efficiency.
Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
2 - 5 years proven experience in asset management, business development, Human Resources or client relationship management.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with technology solutions and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
Working Conditions
Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
Full-time position.
Occasional travel may be required for meetings and events.
