Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s daily operations, ensuring the efficient implementation of our business strategies, develop and drive sales and the growth of our Micro-Insurance offerings.
The COO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborate closely with the executive team to achieve the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company’s strategic plan.
Operational Management:
Oversee the company’s daily operations, develop and manage the sales, and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas
Establish performance metrics and continuously monitor operational outcomes to improve productivity.
Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team to achieve operational excellence.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability among staff.
Product Development:
Collaborate with the product development team to design and implement innovative MicroInsurance products that meet customer needs.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to enhance product offerings.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Develop policies and procedures to safeguard the company’s assets and reputation.
Financial Oversight:
Work with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure sustainable growth.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the Micro-Insurance mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Establish strong corporate sales relationships, set sales target and archive monthly targets
Strong understanding of Micro-Insurance products and market dynamics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies that drive growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
