Job Title: Subject Teacher (French Language)

Location: Alakia, Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
School Section: Primary Section

Job Duties

• Lead and manage a class
• Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the pupils.
• Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of the pupils
• Plan and deliver effective sequences of lessons
• Identify and teach skills that will develop pupils’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Identify and teach skills that will develop pupils’ social independence
• Lead subject or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and ensure progress is at least Good.
• Report pupils’ progress

Qualification and Skills

• Should possess a minimum of first degree in French Language or an equivalent degree.
• NYSCCompletion is Compulsory.
• P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
• Must be fluent in French and English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
• Must be passionate about Teaching
• Must be conversant with 21st-century ICT Tools.
• Must be computer literate, particularly with good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
• Must be an excellent team builder and player.
• Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
