Job Summary

• A Telephone Sales Officer is responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers over the phone to promote products or services, close sales, and meet sales targets.
• The role requires excellent communication, persuasion skills, and a customer-centric approach to build rapport and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:

• Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about products, services, or promotional offers.
• Handle inbound inquiries and provide detailed information about offerings.

Sales Conversion:

• Persuade customers to purchase products or services by highlighting their benefits and addressing objections.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Needs Assessment:

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
• Tailor pitches to address specific customer pain points or requirements.

Follow-ups:

• Schedule follow-up calls to nurture leads and close deals.
• Send emails or messages as required to keep prospects engaged.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Build long-term relationships by providing excellent customer service and support.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share customer feedback.
• Participate in sales training sessions and team meetings.

Market Awareness:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and promotional offers.
• Communicate relevant updates to customers to stay competitive.
