Job Title: Superintendent Pharmacist

Location: Lagos

Position Overview

• The Superintendent Pharmacist will oversee all pharmaceutical operations and plant management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and local pharmacy laws.
• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, maintaining accountability for safe and effective pharmaceutical operations.
• Manage the preparation, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee all plant operations, including production, and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet production goals.
• Manage the plant's budget, resources, and personnel, ensuring optimal use of available assets.

Qualifications and Skills

• BPharm or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist with a valid license.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or operations, Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing plant operations, including staff supervision and budget management.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
