Job Description

• The Head of Product will be responsible for guiding the entire product lifecycle—from concept through development and launch. This role will lead product strategy, feature prioritization, and Agile-driven development. Working with distributed teams and diverse clients, the Head of Product will ensure clear communication, effective cross-functional collaboration, and successful delivery of high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:

• Define, communicate, and execute the product vision and roadmap, ensuring that solutions align with customer and business objectives.

Agile Product Management:

• Oversee product development within an Agile environment, breaking down requirements into Epics and user stories, managing the product backlog, and partnering closely with distributed teams to maintain consistent delivery standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the primary liaison with global customers and business users to gather requirements, demonstrate product features, incorporate feedback, and drive enhancements based on real user needs.

Roadmap & Requirements Management:

• Break down product goals into clear features and user stories, maintaining an organized and prioritized backlog in Agile tools (such as Jira or Rally) for seamless team alignment.

Team Leadership & Efficiency Optimization:

• Lead and mentor an agile product team, facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives), and work continuously to improve the team’s delivery processes for maximum efficiency.

Customer-Centric Solutions:

• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends, particularly within logistics, to deliver innovative, relevant, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications
Experience:

• 8+ years in Product Management, with extensive experience in Agile environments.
• Proven success in leading end-to-end product development and delivery.

Agile Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of Agile-Scrum and/or SAFe (Scaled Agile) methodology.

Domain Knowledge:

• Strong grasp of software development processes and MERN stack technology.
• Logistics experience is a significant advantage.

Technical & Agile Tools:

• Proficient in Agile tools like Jira, Rally, and experienced in distributed team environments.
• Skilled in converting Epics to user stories with clear acceptance criteria for team alignment.

Communication & Leadership:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers and articulate product requirements across technical and non-technical audiences.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills to define, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Team Collaboration:

• Proactive, collaborative team player with a commitment to fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
