Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing professional to join AFL Networks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of metropolitan connectivity products, including Dark fibre, DWDM, Ethernet, and transit connectivity to enterprises, as well as open access FTTH connectivity to ISPs and carriers.
This role requires a strong understanding of the telecoms industry in Nigeria, our products and services, excellent presentation skills, and proficiency in marketing and social media strategies.
Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and target potential enterprise customers and ISPs/carriers for our connectivity solutions,
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Ability to contribute meaningfully towards developing and implementing sales
strategies to achieve revenue targets for products such as Dark Fibre, Ethernet, IP Transit, & FTTH
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough understanding of Dark Fibre, DWDM, Ethernet, transit connectivity & FTTH products,
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Marketing and Social Media:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our connectivity solutions.
Create engaging content for social media platforms to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Analyze sales data to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
Team Leadership:
Ability to develop and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals.
Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Customer Engagement:
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience:
5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing in the telecommunications industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Dark Fibre, DWDM, Ethernet, transit connectivity, and FTTH products.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in marketing strategies and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
