Job Description

• The Drone Pilot (UAV Operator) is responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for various purposes, such as data collection, surveillance, inspection, mapping, and delivery.
• They ensure the safe and efficient execution of flight missions while adhering to regulatory and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare flight plans, assess risks, check UAV readiness, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Operate UAVs during missions, monitor performance, and complete assigned tasks like photography or mapping.
• Inspect UAVs post-flight, review collected data, and log mission details and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and repairs to ensure UAV functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with aviation and UAV regulations to ensure secure operations.
• Process and analyze mission data to provide actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation, or a related field is a plus).
• Experience: 1–3 years of professional UAV piloting experience in commercial, industrial, or military applications and operating UAVs with various payloads, such as cameras, sensors, or delivery systems.

Key Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of UAV systems, including navigation, telemetry, and payload integration; Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
• Flight Skills: Proficient in manual and automated flight operations under different environmental conditions; Skilled in handling emergencies and adapting to unforeseen challenges during flight missions.
• Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with operating different types of UAVs (fixed-wing, rotary, or hybrid).
• Hands-on experience with UAV software platforms like DJI, Pix4D, or Mission Planner.
• Experience flying UAVs in complex environments, including urban areas, rugged terrain, or confined
