The Role

• We are recruiting a Data Analyst to join the Baxi Analytic team, who will be responsible for Data reporting and analytics.  As a core member of the TEAM, the Data Analyst will report to the V.P Operations/Head of internal Operations and work closely with RELEVANT KEY STAKEHOLDERS.
• We are seeking candidates with four to six years of experience as a Data analyst. The successful candidate must be passionate about his job, proficiency in the use of analytical tool; Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, R programming language, exceptional communication skills, high EQ, strong organization skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment etc. Success in this role will require someone who is smart and diligent. The role will be located in Lagos Nigeria.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting data from various sources.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyse, clean, and prepare data in complex data sets.
• Visual data representation and graphical display of analyzed data.
• Developing and maintaining databases and data systems – reorganizing data in a visual / readable format as requested.
• Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines.
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Working with programmers, engineers, stakeholders, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, reporting, trends, patterns, activities, and predictions using relevant data and structural data, enabling them to take important decisions.
• Generally, upload the values of the Company.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or in a relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years’ Experience as a data analyst.
• IBM Data Analyst Professional certificate.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst.
• AWS Certified Data Analytics.
• Microsoft Excel Professional certificate.
• Experience working in fin/tech a plus.

Desired skills: 

• Clearly conveying findings, both written and orally, to non-technical stakeholders. This includes creating reports and presentations that give insights from the data.
• Critical thinking: The ability to approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on the data.
• Able to work in a complex, high paced environment, and handle ambiguity effectively.
• Coming up with solutions to business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Attention to details; Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and recognizing anomalies or errors in data.
