Position Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee ILEOJA’s daily operations, ensuring all departments are aligned with our strategic goals and perform efficiently.
This role requires a visionary leader who can manage a diverse portfolio of businesses and drive operational excellence.
The COO will be responsible for delivering revenue targets, optimizing processes, and leading cross-functional teams to success.
Develop, execute, and monitor operational strategies across all business units: eCommerce, technology school, digital products, real estate, farming, and classified app.
Drive business performance to achieve targets and ensure revenue growth across each unit.
Sales and Market Expansion:
Oversee sales functions for all ILEOJA products, including digital and physical offerings, eCommerce items, and educational programs.
Design and implement strategies for market penetration, student enrollment for tech and business courses, and product sales.
Grant Procurement & Investor Relations:
Identify, apply for, and secure grants aligned with ILEOJA’s objectives.
Develop compelling proposals to attract investors and drive funding for growth initiatives.
Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders to maintain long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop department heads in sales, marketing, finance, production, customer service, and other core functions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management initiatives to drive profitability and sustainability.
Analyze financial data and develop insights for operational improvements.
Operational Efficiency:
Implement effective systems and processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Innovation and Product Development:
Collaborate with the CEO on identifying new product lines, business opportunities, and market trends.
Lead product development efforts in collaboration with R&D to enhance and expand ILEOJA’s offerings.
Risk and Compliance:
Identify potential business risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all departments and maintain standards in safety and quality.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role with proven results in managing and growing diverse business units
Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills. Must be capable of problem-solving and making data-driven decisions.
Demonstrated success in sales and market growth, particularly in digital and eCommerce sectors.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to motivate teams and engage stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with digital marketing, AI-driven business tools, and ERP/CRM systems.
A track record of integrity and accountability with the capacity to manage confidential information discreetly.
