Job Summary
A dedicated and results-driven Sales and Distribution Executive with over 5 years of experience in the detergent sector, responsible for managing regional sales, optimizing distribution channels, and driving revenue growth.
Possesses strong expertise in building relationships with key distributors, retailers, and customers, while ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distribution Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions.
Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to ensure timely product availability.
Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activity, and customer needs in the detergent market.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions to improve growth.
Product Promotion & Marketing:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
Support in the development and execution of brand-building initiatives in local markets.
Train and guide sales teams on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers while seeking new business opportunities.
Resolve customer complaints and issues related to product quality, delivery, and service.
Ensure that customers’ needs are met, thereby fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and minimize stockouts.
Monitor stock levels at distributors and retailers, suggesting reorders when needed to avoid supply disruptions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Provide training and leadership to junior sales staff, ensuring a high level of performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales objectives with company goals.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
5 years of proven experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or detergent industry.
Previous experience with leading brands in the detergent or home care category is an advantage.
