Job Title: Nigeria Trees Project and Admin Coordinator
Location: Minna, Niger
Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
You will coordinate the implementation of multiple niche projects for the Trees program (such as behavioral change campaigns to drive program adoption), support program quality improvements through coordination of research and station trials, as well program reporting through data collection & analysis that require building dashboards to track project performance.
The role will also support administrative aspects of Trees operations including coordinating input distribution, payments, and field staff recruitment, You will report directly to the Trees Associate. This role is based in Minna, Niger State - Nigeria and is fully onsite.
Responsibilities
Co-lead on planning and coordination of niche projects for the Trees program
Lead the implementation of station and field trials to capture learnings on best practices for multiple tree species in collaboration with our Innovations Department.
Prepare and manage a database for all Trees team financial processes including casual payments, vendor payments, field team expenses, and coordinate routine team training on finance processes
Develop survey questionnaires, methodologies, and sampling plans to track multiple program performance indicators
Support coordination of input delivery to districts by liaising with relevant departments and Trees District Leads

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
University Degree in Business Administration, Development, Agric Economics, or related fields OR Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in agriculture/agroforestry
2+ years of project coordination or administration experience
Experience implementing or managing agroforestry, agriculture, or development projects
Proficiency in data analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite and building/managing complex dashboards
2+ years of experience coordinating desk research & field/station trials
Proficiency in data collection tools such as Kobo Collect & Commcare
Language competence in Hausa, or other commonly spoken local languages in Northern Nigeria
