The role
We are building a pipeline of experienced and motivated Data Analytics Specialists for future opportunities within Flutterwave.
We require individuals who are passionate about data, driven to make a difference, and eager to solve complex problems.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver analytics reporting and Business Intelligence dashboards and reports as required by business areas
Interpreting data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated insights for internal stakeholders
Promote a data-driven mindset and collaborate with stakeholders in defining business problems and delivering analytics solutions that produce tangible business results
Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
Support the team and/or other analysts in the design, construction, and implementation of appropriate analytical processes which support business objectives.
Interface with business teams to understand their data requirements and provide them with actionable insights and reports.
Communicate key findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using storytelling techniques
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges (e.g., customer churn, fraud detection, revenue forecasting).
Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing to support decision-making processes.
Implement and optimize machine learning models using tools such as Python or R.
Ensure personal information of customers, employees, and other individuals the company conducts business with is processed and protected in line with applicable data privacy policies, privacy laws, and global best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a similar role.
Proven track record of applying data science techniques to solve business problems.
Skills & Competencies:
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for data visualization.
Expertise with SQL with knowledge of cloud data warehouses.
Experience with Python is highly desirable
Experience in building statistical models and machine learning is a strong plus.
Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their practical applications (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their associated data services is a plus.
