 Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and fix a variety of equipment and systems.
• This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance issues before they become major problems. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure that all facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.
• The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects.
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Provide training to junior maintenance staff.
• Monitor and report on the condition of equipment and facilities.
• Perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of equipment.

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with maintenance management software is a plus.
• Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
