Job Title: Field Credit Officer

Locations: Adamawa, Borno, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Nasarawa, Sokoto and Taraba
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• We are seeking a proactive Field Credit Officer to onboard and manage businesses accessing credit products.
• Your role will involve growing a loan portfolio, ensuring timely repayments, and maintaining portfolio profitability.
• You will assess businesses during credit applications, monitor performance, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard viable businesses within your geographical area.
• Ensure optimal usage of business accounts for credit qualification.
• Analyze loan applications and approve or decline based on thorough evaluations.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess borrowers’ business operations and financial health.
• Achieve loan portfolio growth and maintain portfolio profitability.
• Monitor active loans to ensure repayments and account performance.
• Perform other credit-related functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum OND / NCE in a business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years experience in sales of credit products in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of credit risk and financial analysis (advantageous).
• Residency in the north of Nigeria(Any of the northern states).
