Goxi Micro Insurance Limited is a composite microinsurance company licensed by NAICOM to offer Life and Non – Life Microinsurance services. We are the first stand-alone licensed Microinsurance in Nigeria.

We offer affordable, innovative and customer centric insurance solutions to low-income individuals, micro and small business enterprises. Our products developed from continue research and close working relationship with the low-income segment are appropriate and relevant at ensuring that real values are delivered to our customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Sales and Business development throughout assigned Region
• Attend Partner Agents customer meeting to Educates our customers on products process and handles customer’s complaints by generating necessary feedback.
• Develops Relationship to create an opportunity to cross sell other products of the company in an existing Partner Platform
• Develops business opportunity through Clusters, Cooperatives, Trade and Market Associations, Unions, Aggregators, Community Association etc.
• Handles the entire range of sales activities, including relationship building, initial meeting/demonstrations, and presentations and closing business.
• Provides information to the company with regards to industry trends, reasons for wins and losses, state of the competitive marketplace, product development needs.
• Develop New Initiatives to Drive Business Growth
• Support the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies of the company.
• Any other roles that may be assigned by the Development Manager.

Job Requirements
Required experience and skills:

• A Bachelor`s degree or HND from a recognized institution.
• 1-3 years of experience in the insurance field, direct experience in Microinsurance a plus.
• Success working with organizational leadership, using their time and resources on a selective basis.
• Ability to communicate in English, Pidgin English and other Nigerian dialect a plus.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities;
• Experience in Direct sales/marketing of Insurance Products.
