We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development / Sales Executive

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify potential clients interested in home automation, such as property developers, architects, interior designers, or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Use tools like social media, online platforms, and networking events to generate leads.
  • Schedule and conduct initial meetings or demos to showcase Luxsit’s smart home solutions.

Product Demonstration and Consultation:

  • Educate potential clients about Luxsit’s home automation products and services, such as lighting control, smart security, and audio-visual systems.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to show how the solutions integrate seamlessly into homes.
  • Provide expert advice on customized solutions to meet client needs.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain a network of professional contacts to drive repeat business and referrals.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop strategies to achieve sales targets specific to Luxsit’s market niche.
  • Close deals by preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts.
  • Upsell or cross-sell products like energy management systems and multi-room audio.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated on trends in home automation, including new technologies and competitors’ offerings.
  • Analyze market gaps and provide insights to improve Luxsit’s product portfolio.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work with the technical team to ensure client needs are met during installation and post-sales support.
  • Liaise with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to your target audience.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Reporting and CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project updates in the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide feedback on strategies to improve business outcomes.

Event Participation:

  • Represent Luxsit at real estate exhibitions, industry conferences, and other relevant events.
  • Showcase solutions through live demos and engage potential clients at these events.

Negotiation and Problem Solving:

  • Address client concerns and negotiate terms that are beneficial for both parties.
  • Resolve issues that may arise during installation or integration promptly to maintain client satisfaction.

Brand Promotion:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Luxsit, ensuring a positive reputation in the home automation industry.
  • Promote the company’s unique selling points, such as personalized smart home solutions and excellent after-sales support.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
