We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: People & Culture Specialist

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for ensuring that the Company has the right mix of talent that are effectively deployed, managed, rewarded and engaged in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.
  • To support the creation of a distinctive organization culture and employer brand and facilitate its adoption and promotion by employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handles end to end recruitment of talents (conducting interviews and assessment)
  • Supports implementation of HR policies & procedures to ensure a high standard of discipline, organization and transactional justice across the company
  • Informal Engagement of employees each quarter and communicate report to Management
  • Provides operational HR services in line with policy guidelines to ensure employee satisfaction at optimal cost, time and quality
  • Maintains and update human resources system and personnel records to ensure confidentiality, safe- keeping, accuracy and reliability of information and records.
  • Provide required staff work tools in a timely manner (laptops, ID cards, complimentary cards, CUG line)
  • Ensure all performance appraisals are done and closed within the right timeframe
  • Conduct (monthly) Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) and assessment based on different industries on our product and services (product and solution)
  • Manage all staff leave and ensure challenged through the appropriate medium
  • Staff birthday celebration - Share updated staff birthday list with Admin and Brand monthly, get birthday design from Brand and send an email to staff on their birthdays and follow up with Admin to ensure the availability of cake.
  • Probation Assessment – Oversee the entire probation assessment process
  • Conflict Resolution and Mediation
  • Collation of training needs and processing of training development plan
  • Work with Heads of department to develop product training content (study guide)
  • Develop and implement the performance management system
  • Conduct a knowledge gap audit
  • Have selected retreats for Head of Department (Management retreat)
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief People & Culture Officer.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4 - 5 years experience.
