Job Summary

• The Event Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion, ensuring they align with client goals, budgets, and expectations.
• This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage all event logistics, timelines, budgets, vendor partnerships, and onsite execution.
• The Event Project Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to create seamless, impactful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define event goals, objectives, and deliverables that align with client needs.
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, milestones, and resources.
• Assess client requirements and provide innovative event concepts and solutions.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and permits.
• Manage on-site setup, execution, and post-event breakdown.
• Develop and manage event budgets, tracking all expenses to stay within budget constraints.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their vision is achieved.
• Collaborate with the design, creative, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all aspects of the event.
• Lead and motivate event staff, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
• Oversee the execution of the event, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Manage post-event debriefing, gathering feedback to continuously improve future events.
• Track key event metrics to assess event success, including attendance, engagement, and satisfaction.
• Prepare post-event reports and analyses to measure performance against objectives.
• Gather and analyze feedback from clients for ongoing improvement and process optimization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND certificate holder.
• 5 years of experience in event planning, project management, or a related role.
• Strong project management skills with proficiency in event planning software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, Asana).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and a high level of organization.
• Willingness to work flexible hours is required for this role.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
