Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Contract 3 months (with potential for extension)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our innovative app development company on a 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
• In this role, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
• You will work on defining requirements, designing workflows, and delivering detailed documentation for scalable and user-centric web and mobile applications.
• This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and strategic thinker with a strong background in app or software development who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business objectives.
• Translate high-level business needs into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Create and maintain key project documents, including:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD) detailing project scope, goals, and MVP features.
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) with technical specifications for workflows and integrations.
  • User Stories and Personas to define application use cases.

Workflow Design:

• Map out end-to-end workflows for core application processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Identify potential gaps or challenges and propose actionable solutions.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with UI/UX Designers to ensure workflows are accurately represented in wireframes and prototypes.
• Partner with developers during implementation to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment.

Testing and Validation:

• Assist in validating that deliverables meet the defined requirements during the testing phase.
• Provide comprehensive handoff documentation and ensure smooth post-development transitions.

Qualifications
Required:
Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on app or software development projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality documentation and workflows.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in documentation tools
• Familiarity with wireframing and workflow tools.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with applications involving user accounts, workflows, or data handling.
• Knowledge of industry trends in app development or related technologies.

Salary
N150,000 - N220,000 per month.
