Position Overview
The Students’ Services team serves as a central point of contact for addressing student concerns, acting as a vital link between students and RBTC Nigeria’s school resources.
The Students’ Services Support Personnel will engage directly with students, offering essential administrative support related to school resources, and assisting staff, volunteers, and team members with admissions, enrollment, and student records management.
This role is designed to streamline operations by reducing routine student inquiries to Campus Coordinators and the IT department, functioning as a one-stop center for student-related services.
A high degree of confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations is essential for success in this role.
Must maintain a vibrant, passionate, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Actively participate in and financially support a local Bible-believing church.
Student Services:
Assist the Students’ Services Coordinator in managing the admissions and enrollment process on campus.
Collaborate with the Students’ Services Coordinator to oversee student outreach programs that support student retention and success.
Partner with the IT/Data team to facilitate student enrollment on platforms such as the Rhema App and other interactive systems.
Inform admitted students of their acceptance and provide them with their login credentials.
Help in planning and facilitating student orientation programs.
Communicate approved orientation program details to all relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Accounts team to verify students’ fee-payment status and notify students as appropriate.
Prepare, package, and submit all admission documents for review and signature by the Assistant Divisional Leader.
Distribute orientation and admission packages to both new and returning students.
Collect signed Honor and Conduct Code agreements from all students during orientation.
Listen and respond to student concerns, escalating issues to the Students’ Services Coordinator as needed.
Collaborate with IT/Data to assign student numbers, create ID cards, and distribute them to students.
Assist in collating, processing, and securely storing student exam results and academic records.
Track and manage student attendance for both online and in-person class sessions.
Monitor student exam results, track outstanding exams, and maintain a pass/fail record.
Oversee the tracking of reading assignments and PMR form submissions.
Ensure compliance by monitoring students’ progress within their 3-year study window.
Generate student progress, status, and other requested reports.
Help plan, communicate, and facilitate the end-of-session clearance process for students on campus.
Assist in planning and facilitating events like graduation ceremonies, taster sessions, Rhema Conferences, and orientation programs.
Collaborate with other departments to compile the graduation list for submission to the Students’ Services Coordinator.
Facilitate the printing and signing of student certificates as required.
Coordinate with other departments for the planning and execution of the graduation ceremony.
Assist in the ordering of graduation gowns and preparation of certificates.
Conduct graduation dress rehearsals for students and faculty members.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support the role.
Person Specification
Education and Training:
B.Sc., HND, or equivalent in Secretarial Studies, Management, or related discipline.
RBTC Diploma (desirable).
Skills and Knowledge:
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and systems thinking skills.
Friendly and approachable disposition.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a calm demeanour.
Excellent team player, proactive, teachable, and able to remember names and faces.
Computer literacy and proficiency with internet and administrative tools.
Strong communication skills, effective in both large and small group settings.
Knowledge of school policies and respect for confidentiality.
