Job Summary
The Procurement Executive will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing quality goods and services required to support our operations while maintaining cost efficiency and ensuring supplier compliance with our standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain management, with a focus on supporting the unique needs of a wellness-focused organization.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for products and services in alignment with company needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers to ensure reliability and competitive pricing.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure value for money.
Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Collaborate with inventory teams to forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels.
Ensure all procured items meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, addressing non-compliance and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and payment terms.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and vendor performance.
Analyze costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on procurement spending.
Assist in preparing and managing the procurement budget.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 - 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wellness, health, or FMCG industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with e-procurement and inventory management systems.
Understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
