Ace Talent Consulting - Our client is an EPC company that renders various IRM services including providing tank construction, rehabilitation, Automated Hydrocarbon Recovery and Tank Cleaning (AHRTC) services, industrial cleaning, and procurement services amongst others to major corporations, within the oil and gas sector.

Job Description

• A highly results driven team player, strategic business development and management individual. Should be skilled in Negotiation, Bid and Tender, Microsoft Office and Engineering.

Principal Responsibilities / Key Results Area

• Develop new, innovative and efficient operational processes to accelerate growth of the business.
• Conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, competitors, and new opportunities. Analyzing data to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
• Identifying potential business opportunities aligned with the company's products or services.
• Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Technical Expertise: Possessing a strong technical background in engineering, along with a deep understanding of the company's products or services. Being able to communicate technical concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
• Proposal Development: Collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, bids and tender including technical specifications, pricing, and project timelines. Ensuring that proposals are aligned with client requirements and company capabilities.
• Project Management Support: Providing support to project managers during the implementation phase of projects. This may involve technical guidance, problem-solving, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to client expectations.
• Networking and Business Development: Actively networking within industry events, conferences, and professional associations to identify new business opportunities. Building strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company's reach and market presence.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, such as sales pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue generation. Providing regular reports to management on business development progress and achievements.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng qualification with at least 3 years work experience.
