Job Title: Experienced Head Teacher

Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Headteacher must be prepared to address different issues and take up responsibilities daily.
• He/she should be able to communicate in public and spend time on their own completing administrative assignments.

Their main duties and responsibilities include:

• Creating an academic programme for students that meets national standards
• Working closely and communicating with students’ parents
• Helping assess students’ needs and development
• Selecting, training, supporting and assessing staff
• Providing guidance to staff to help resolve issues with students
• Using data to track student performance and produce reports
• Working with external advisors and school governors
• Working with the accountant to controlling school finances
• Ensuring the safety of all children in the institution/programme
• Overall supervision of staff.
• Parents and students management.

Expected skills of the Headteacher

• Eloquent speaking skills.
• Diction
• Elegant handwriting (cursive or Nelson)
• Management skill
• Marketing skill
• Interpersonal relationship skill
• Leadership skill
• The head teacher must have poise, good etiquette, good dress sense and pleasant personality.

• Computer and Internet surfing skill.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
