Integrated Services Consulting Firm - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services respectively, due to growth, is desirous of hiring qualified and very experienced personnel to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rotating Equipment Technician

Location: Warri, Delta

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all rotational equipment on project Site is safe and fit for purpose.
• Removes & dismantles equipment with maintenance problems; Cleans, lubricate and repairs/replaces faulty components on time.
• Reassembles units and checks for efficient operation.
• Performs preventive & breakdown maintenance jobs.
• Understand types of mechanical tools used for rotation equipment and their applications.
• Carry out basic instrumentation tests before deployment to Site, (pressure, level gauges, and temperature elements)
• Observe basis physical characteristic examination of rotation equipments before deployment (temperature, pressure, flow)
• Carry out basic battery limit isolations and general LOTO procedures Ensure that Permit to work procedure and general HSE requirements in commissioning phase are maintained.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of National Diploma or its equivalent, from a reputable Institution. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the same roles or its equivalent.
• Completed basic mechanical training program
• Possession of Torquing methods and flange make up techniques.
• Fluent in Basic English Language
• Ability to use of alignment tools such as feeler gauges, calipers, dial indicators, laser etc.
• Must have knowledge of quality Management system for Maintenance.
