Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing CIG Motors’ day-to-day operational functions, ensuring seamless integration of strategic business initiatives with operational execution.
The COO will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to drive efficiencies, optimize resources, and establish robust systems and processes.
This position demands a proactive leader with deep knowledge of operational management and strategic planning to ensure CIG Motors consistently meets its commercial, financial, and operational goals.
The COO will also focus on fostering a high performance culture and delivering exceptional value to customers and partners
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of the CIG operations, including production, logistics, customer service, and aftersales.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed to meet operational goals.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Advise the R&D team in conducting market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Lead and manage a team of managers responsible for various operational fuOversee the company's financial performance and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Develop and implement budgets and financial plans for the overall operations
Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.
Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in a senior operational role, ideally within the automotive, manufacturing, or commercial sectors.
Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional team leadership.
Strong experience in process optimization, cost management, and resource allocation.
Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and data analysis software.
Ability to lead within a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
